Summary
The position of Loan Support Specialist is responsible for performing routine and intermediate duties related to consumer and commercial loan applications. Generates consumer, commercial and SBA loan documentation; processes customer loan payments and advances; boards loan and images loan documentation on the Bank's core and imaging systems; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining excellent customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.
Essential Duties
- Completes commercial/consumer loan document requests
- Reviews loan documentation for accuracy
- Boards signed loans to core maintaining data integrity
- Responsible for the disbursement of new loan funds
- Indexing of loan documentation to imaging system
- Prepare and maintain collateral files, ensuring complete and accurate documentation
- Detail and accuracy are a must
- Be able to effectively prioritize in a high-paced environment
Other Duties
- Responsible for successfully completing assigned training courses
- Responsible for following Bank Procedures and Policies, including Privacy Policy, Network Security Policy and Personal Computer Policy
- Explains, promotes, or recommends bank products & services.
- Works to build strong relationships with Team Members in order to meet our TEAMWORK VALUES.
- Provides EXTRAORDINARY CUSTOMER SERVICE as outlined in our Service Standards.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects Bank Customers and the Bank by keeping information confidential

The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machines, adding machine (calculator), scanner and image systems, computer terminal, laptop computer, personal computer and related printers, or other equipment as directed.

Minimum Requirements
Education/Experience:
- 2+ years LaserPro experience preparing consumer/commercial loans required
- 2 + years experience working in a loan servicing department required
- Understanding of Bank regulatory compliance for commercial, residential and consumer loans
- Understanding of loan documentation and the perfection of security interest
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
