How to Participate

Option 1: Derby Scratch Tickets

  • Visit any State Bank Northwest Branch location and ask for a free Derby Scratch Ticket
  • Instant Gift: All participants receive a complimentary horse keychain (while supplies last)
  • Winners: If you receive a winning ticket, you're automatically entered into our Grand Prize Drawing and win a $100 Grand candy bar
  • Non-Winners: Don't worry! You can still participate in our Derby Selfie Scavenger Hunt for another chance to win

Option 2: Derby Selfie Scavenger Hunt

  • Pick up a Derby Selfie Scavenger Hunt Checklist at any branch location or download it HERE.
  • Complete tasks from the checklist and capture selfies as evidence
  • Share your selfies on social media:
    • Instagram: Post and tag @statebanknorthwest
    • Facebook: Post and tag the State Bank Northwest page
  • To Qualify: Complete ALL tasks on the checklist and post to social media, tagging State Bank Northwest as listed above, by May 2nd at 12:00 PM to be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing

Prizes

  • Participation Prize: Horse keychain (while supplies last)
  • Grand Prize: Premium bottle of wine, decorative wine stopper, and lucky horseshoe keychain

Grand Prize Drawing

The drawing will be held at the Northpointe Branch on Monday, May 5th, 2025. Winners will be notified by phone, email, or social media direct message.

Official Contest Rules

STATE BANK NORTHWEST 2025 DERBY FESTIVITIES GIVEAWAY

ELIGIBILITY

  • No purchase or banking relationship necessary to enter or win
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to participate
  • Open to residents of Washington State
  • Employees of State Bank Northwest, their immediate family members, and those living in the same household are not eligible to win prizes

HOW TO ENTER

  1. Scratch Ticket Entry: Visit any State Bank Northwest Branch location between April 28 and May 2, 2025, and request a Derby Scratch Ticket. Winning tickets are automatically entered into the Grand Prize Drawing.
  2. Selfie Scavenger Hunt Entry: Complete all tasks on the Derby Selfie Scavenger Hunt Checklist and submit by posting on Instagram (tag @statebanknorthwest) or Facebook (tag State Bank Northwest) by May 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM Pacific Time.

PRIZE DETAILS

  • Participation Prize: Horse keychain 
  • Grand Prize: Wine bottle, wine stopper, and lucky horseshoe keychain (approximate retail value: $45)
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Winner is responsible for all taxes associated with prize receipt

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

  • Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on May 5, 2025
  • Winner will be notified by phone, email, or social media direct message
  • Winner must respond within 48 hours of notification or an alternate winner may be selected
  • Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of State Bank Northwest, which are final and binding
  • State Bank Northwest reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or violating these Official Rules
  • By accepting a prize, winner grants State Bank Northwest permission to use their name, likeness, and entry for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law
  • State Bank Northwest is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, or illegible entries

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

  • By entering, participants release State Bank Northwest from any liability associated with participation in this promotion or acceptance/use of any prize
  • State Bank Northwest is not responsible for: (1) technical failures of any kind; (2) any incorrect or inaccurate information; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process; (4) technical or human error in the administration of the promotion
